Dirt or Soot?

In a recent conversation with a customer, we talked about how sometimes the damage from soot cannot be seen right away. If it is a subtle source - like a furnace - that is causing the damage then it may only be in cleaning or noticing that something is just not right that the damage can be found. Soot can be found in many places that you think is something else:

• webs can be formed and look like spider webs,
• dust on counter tops
• "dirt" on blinds
